Outward bound hounds is so amazing! My special needs dog doesn’t like anyone and they worked with her to get her comfortable and we’re both so happy!!!

We're so lucky to have found Outward Bound Hounds! Their professionalism, expertise, and love for what they do was evident from the moment we first spoke. Our pup loves Regina, and she is happier and calmer after getting a great workout with OBH. Highly recommend hiring them for your dogwalking and pet sitting needs!

My girl, Evie, is not an easy pup. She can be weary of strangers and intimidating. My boy, Applesauce, is a bull headed, sweet tempered meathead with a penchant for escaping. I’d call him a Houdini, but he’s just not that smart, bless his smooshy face. Regina took their quirks in stride, literally. 🙂 I feel very lucky that I don’t feel guilty leaving the dogs behind, they have their adventures while we are having ours

Outward Bound Hounds is phenomenal!!! I trust the team with my home and my dog. Those are two extremely important things to me. Outward Bound Hounds has been walking and watching my pup for over three years. Every year on my pups birthday, he is remembered and he gets a little gift and card. Very reliable, responsive and as important as everything else, caring. I highly recommend Outward Bound Hounds!

Pet Services We Offer Request Services

Wow! The summer has seemingly flown by and before we know it, the holiday season will be in full swing! Now is the perfect time to get your pet prepared for your holiday travel plans. Here’s the inside scoop on how to prepare your furriest family members for the mixing and mingling of the holiday season.

  1. Find a pet sitter with a team you can trust. Your pet sitter should be someone who is reliable, insured, has glowing references and a back-up plan incase of an emergency. No one wants to rush home from an out of town Thanksgiving dinner because their sitter fell through.
  2. Book a few drop-in visits or some walks if you’re booking with a pet sitter for the first time. This ensures that your pet will be familiar with their sitter and they will have less stress when you are away.
  3. Make a list of behaviors that your sitter should be aware of, likes and dislikes and make note of things such as their bedtime rituals so that your sitter can replicate them and make your fur baby feel as comfortable as possible!
  4. Call your veterinarian to tell them that your pet will be in the care of a sitter and let them know your sitter’s full name so that they can be allowed to authorize any emergency medical care. Put a credit card on file with your veterinarian if possible.
  5. Make sure to update your emergency contact info in case you cannot be reached. It is also helpful to send your sitter a basic itinerary with flight times and numbers, hotel names, etc.
